Memorial Bricks

Memorial Bricks are available for purchase to be placed along the walkway throughout the garden.  The purchase of a brick gives you the opportunity to remember special individuals with a memorial or tribute gift.  A commemorative gift honors a loved one’s life and serves to reflect upon the memories that live forever. 

A gift made in honor of an individual recognizes a person who has had a special impact on your life.  Gifts can also be made in honor of birthdays, anniversaries, weddings, and other special occasions.

For a gift of $150 or $300 you may purchase a brick in honor or memory of a loved one, in recognition of your family or friends as a lasting tribute to be placed in the walkway outside Hiland Cottage, in the memorial garden and on future walking paths.

 The memorial garden at Hiland Cottage is a peaceful setting that backs up to the Bay View woods. Deer, squirrels and birds are abundant in this garden. Hiland Cottage was built in 2008 and landscaping for the memorial garden is still under way.

If you are interested in helping complete Phase II of our Memorial Garden, Hospice of Little Traverse Bay is accepting donations to purchase the following items.

As part of Hospice of Little Traverse Bay’s Pregnancy and Infant Loss Program we have included our Angel of Hope in our memorial Garden. This program serves families who have experienced a loss through miscarriage, stillbirth or infant death.
